Talk through the job, we build the quote.

Hit record, walk the site, talk normally — stop when you're done. VoiceQuote turns your voice memo into an itemised quote priced off your own rate card, with every line pointing back to the exact sentence you said.

Nothing yet. Press play — items land as they're said.

Total, inc GST $0.00 ex GST $0.00 GST $0.00

No rate on this page was typed in. Each row multiplies a quantity heard in the memo by a rate from your own rate card, and the subtotal, GST and total are worked out from those rows — so if a rate is wrong, you see it's wrong, right here, before anything goes out.

Every line traces back to what was said.

    See how line-linking works.

An estimate you can't trace is an estimate you end up redoing. So the link runs both ways: click a line in the transcript and the items it produced light up; click an item in the quote and you land on the words that made it. Nothing on the quote exists without a spoken sentence behind it.

At 6:32 the memo mentions a heated towel rail. There's no model and no confirmed circuit, so VoiceQuote doesn't price it — it flags it and moves on. A guessed line item is worse than a missing one: the missing one, you notice.

Yours, and versioned. A quote records which version of your rate card priced it, so a price rise next quarter never quietly re-prices work you've already sent.

    How it works

    1. 01 Collect — record on site (30 seconds)

Record a voice memo on site while you look at the job — talk through the quantities, the tasks and the materials the way you normally would.

    2. 02 Process — priced off your rate card (instant)

VoiceQuote transcribes the recording and matches what you said to the items and rates on your own rate card.

    3. 03 Review — edit, with everything traceable

Read the quote next to the transcript. Adjust a quantity, add a detail, or deal with a flagged item — each one takes seconds, and every line still points back to what you said.

    4. 04 Approve — lock in the quote

Approve the quote when it's right. Approving writes the record; sending it to the customer is a separate step you control.

    5. 05 Export — PDF or copy anywhere

Export the quote as a PDF, or copy the line items straight into whatever you already use — your invoice template, or a message to the customer.

Coming next Approved quotes carry straight through to a draft invoice, and a direct copy into Xero — no re-typing.

    What VoiceQuote won't do

    • Invent a rate. If an item or code isn't on your rate card, it's flagged for you to check, not priced on a guess.
    • Round a quantity you didn't say. “About four metres” stays four metres — and stays linked to the word “about.”
    • Send anything on its own. Approving creates the record; sending it to a customer stays with you.
    • Guess at scope. It won't fill in detail from a photo, a floor plan, or the last job that looked like this one.
